Britt Soler is a craftsperson based in Nashville, Tennessee. She spent over a decade in the bar business designing and creating spaces, menus, and experiences such as the scene-changing cocktail bar, Old Glory. Craving a change of pace, she started working in wood shops (Half Halt Studio, Aberdeen Studio, Barber Woodworking) in Nashville and Austin, Texas. Having spent her formative years around her grandfather’s shop spaces, this transition has felt like a coming home. Britt has participated in various workshops, programs, and fellowships at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship (fellow of fall 2025), Berea College, and Marc Adams School of Woodworking in the pursuit of skill- and voice-building. She holds a BFA in Art + Design from Northeastern University.
A native of Miami, Britt seeks to marry the visual modernity and tropical aesthetic with which she was raised and the intimacy with tools and material that she’s learned along her craft journey. Britt has a keen interest in ergonomics and kinematics, leading to explorations in chair-making and sculpture.
